Department (EN)

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technology (EEI), with its 15 chairs and the International AudioLabs Erlangen, comprehensively covers the fundamentals and special topics of electrical engineering, electronics and information technology in research and teaching.

Due to its strong networking with the other departments of the Faculty of Engineering and the two Fraunhofer Institutes in Erlangen, it stands for a modern and engineering-oriented electrical engineering education with a very broad range of subjects.
